What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic care focuses on restoring healthy movement of the spine and joints to support the way your body functions. Gentle, hands-on adjustments can help reduce pain, ease tension, and improve mobility by enhancing how your nervous system and muscles work together.
Chiropractic care is commonly sought for back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint stiffness, and muscle tension, but it can also support recovery from injuries, improve posture, and enhance overall wellness. Whether you’re managing everyday aches, recovering from activity, or looking to move and feel your best, chiropractic care offers a natural, evidence-based approach to help you stay active and healthy.
What is a manipulation?
Chiropractic manipulation or adjustments is a safe, quick, comfortable maneuver targeted at stiff joints with the intent of restoring movement and decreasing pain.
Chiropractic manipulation helps to restore proper joint movement and improve how your body senses and controls motion.
Inside each joint are tiny sensors that tell your brain where your body is in space (called proprioception). Some of these sensors, known as Type 3 joint receptors, respond to quick, precise movements like an adjustment. Activating them can help relax tight muscles, improve coordination, and “reset” how the joint communicates with your nervous system.
Restoration of motion and pain relief is complemented with at-home exercise and patient education/advice to enhance overall function. This means better movement, less tension, and a body that functions more smoothly.
Why choose an evidence based provider?
Our approach to chiropractic care is grounded in the latest research and clinical guidelines. Evidence-based chiropractic means every assessment, adjustment, and treatment plan is guided by science and tailored to your individual needs. This approach combines hands-on techniques, exercise, and lifestyle strategies to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term health. By focusing on what works best and is supported by evidence, we provide safe, effective care you can trust.
